The Central New York Teaching Center (CNYTC) is one of more than 133 New York State Teacher Resource and Computer Training Centers funded in 1984 by the New York State Legislature through the NYS Education Department.
The CNYTC works with area educators, school districts, parents, educational organizations, community members and higher education to support professional development activities that make an impact on teaching and learning.
The mission of the CNYTC is to envision, develop and support quality teaching. The CNYTC has provided educators with the programs and resources for high quality, professional development for 25 years.
The Central New York Teaching Center serves over 6,000 educators in 16 school districts, OCM BOCES, and 10 non-public schools in central New York. It is located in the Syracuse NYSUT Regional Office, Suite 203 and is open year-round, weather permitting.
