The Central New York Teaching Center provides professional development programs that promote excellence in education. The Center offers high quality, research-based programs that have an impact on teaching and learning. 

CNYTC professional development programs include courses and initiatives that support the New York State Learning Standards, promote student achievement, integrate technology with curriculum, insure teacher center outreach, and encourage collaborations with higher education and educational organizations. 

Through the CNYTC courses and initiatives educators have the opportunity to increase knowledge, exchange ideas and develop strategies to refine instructional skills at various stages of their careers. 

Courses are offered full day, after school, and customized to meet the professional development needs of educators.  Initiatives support district professional development plans, educator growth and conference attendance.
